Emergency tablets are available from the Pharmacy or at an appointment with the Doctor.
First pregnancy: You should be seen either at the hospital or the surgery at the following stages of pregnancy:
24 weeks, 28 weeks, 32 weeks, 36 weeks, 38 weeks, 40 weeks and then every week until delivery.
Subsequent pregnancies: If you have had a previous baby you should be seen at the following stages of pregnancy:
28 weeks, 34 weeks, 38 weeks, 40 weeks and then every week until delivery.
The antenatal appointments are carried out by the midwife and appointments can be arranged through the receptionist.
A full range of reviews can be carried out and conditions treated, appointments can be arranged through the receptionist.
Healthy Baby Clinic
The baby clinic is held on Friday morning from 10:00 to 12:00. The health visitor is available for advice or baby weighing. No appointment is necessary.
Appointments are required for immunisations which are arranged via the receptionist. Immunisation appointments can be made on any day of the week.
A full range of contraceptive services and advice is available. Contact reception to arrange an appropriate appointment.
Our Diabetic patients can arrange an appointment with our fully trained Practice Nurse Alison Whitelegg.
NHS Health Checks
Patients aged 40 – 74 who are not already receiving any review may attend to have a health screening which will include a check on their cholesterol level.
